Basically it's a brand new game, not just some improvements nor adjustments from the previous version, but it's definitely a brand new game.
What I really like from the system is, the simplicity. For a starter, someone can play just easily, without the burden of Heavy-and-Thick rules.
This simplicity also helps in concentrating in Roleplay.
Anyways, for those who don't know about Dungeons and Dragons, you can find the answer from:
Wizards of the Coast
Wikipedia (duh)
And for Indonesian, you can simply visit several forums, such as Celestine Empire, Indoboardgames, or Hobbyindo (just use the search engine)
Another thing that I really like is, DnD 4th Ed promotes a 'High Fantasy' setting; there are many new 'cosmetics' put in the game. It differs a lot from the previous games who try to put some Historical Accuracy in the rules.
Well, I do enjoy Historical games. But for now, I'd like to play a High Fantasy setting.
With a dark tone, and vast mysterious place, with only several 'safe environment' scattered heavily, dotting scarcely through the world
